I've got to tell you, about 90% of the replacement windows that my clients choose are double hung. There are many reasons, but right off the bat they are the most economical. Both sashes tilt in for easy cleaning. From there, they have a patented sash interlock system which makes it virtually impossible for air infiltration. Add that feature with our steel SURE LOCKS, and now the window is guaranteed against break-ins. Another unique feature is the split sill, creating a pocket for the bottom sash to lock in to, while generating a sloped exterior sill with its own guttering system. Take all of that and add our safety glass, Peak Performance glass package and fiberglass screens - and you've got yourself a window that looks great and is impervious to drafts and break-ins.
