About Zen Windows™

In 1986, I fell in love with the window business. I’m not sure, unless it’s a family business, that anyone starts out saying they want to be in the window business. At one time I wanted to be a veterinarian, but I also wanted to own a business, so, I guess you could say I was always looking to the future.

The window business that I got into was not the kinder, gentler business that I have now. It was high-pressure sales, long drawn out presentations, hiring telemarketers to schedule my appointments, and sub-contractors doing fly-by-night work. Then there was the collecting money up front, with the hopes that the installers would actually show up.
That window business burns people out, on both sides of the deal.
But, one day, I had a revelation,
It didn’t have to be like this.
The revelation came while shopping at a nice clothing boutique. They asked me what I needed, showed me some options, measured me, and told me that in three days I could come try it on, and if I liked it, I could buy it. No problem.
If only I could sell windows that way.
So I left the mothership, and started Zen Windows.
I sell the exact same brand of window to all of my clients. I have the best technicians (from experience and better training) put in the replacement windows, and I sell them just like the clothes.
Simple, quick, honest, easy.
I do business my way, with respect for the customer. I show up on time, give a short presentation (15 minutes is long), provide a quote, and if you decide to honor me with your business, you will have replacement windows in about 3 weeks, and you pay me then.
My life is simple now. Just the way your window sale should be.
