Polyurethane Foam Core: The polyurethane foam core is a Tru-Defense™ feature, which offers five times the energy efficiency of a wood door and is CFC-free. Solid Wood Square Edge: A solid wood square edge that reproduces the look of a real wood door is a Tru-Defense™ feature offered on our Classic-Craft® line. A wood lock stile runs the entire length of the door to add structural integrity. Solid Wood Lock Block: A solid wood lock block for reinforcement is offered as a Tru-Defense™ feature on our Smooth-Star® & Fiber-Classic® lines. Durable Steel Edge Construction: Our ProEdge™ product line features durable steel edge construction with advanced lock reinforcement. Wood Edge Construction: Our Profiles™ product line offers wood edge construction with solid wood lock block for reinforcement. Weather Strip Weatherstrip Foam filled compression weatherstrip remains flexible and seals your entryway against moisture and air infiltration. It is removable for finishing and available in white or bronze. Hinge Hinges Adjustable Hinges: Therma-Tru’s adjustable hinges provide horizontal and vertical adjustment allowing for a perfect fit. They are available in brass, brushed nickel, oil-rubbed bronze, polished chrome, antique nickel, antique brass and white. Self-Aligning Hinges: Therma-Tru’s high-quality, self-aligning hinges provide excellent stability. They are available in brass, brushed nickel, oil-rubbed bronze, polished chrome, and white. New ProEdge™ Adjustable Hinge Features ProEdge™ adjustable hinges allow for adjustment in all directions providing a perfect fit for your door. Upward Adjustment Downward Adjustment 5/8" upward and downward adjustability allows for an ideal fit between the door bottom and the sill, as well as the top of the door with the frame header. In & Out Adjustment 1/8" left to right adjustment permits a tighter sealing between the door and the weatherstrip. Tilt In or Out at Top or Bottom Top and bottom inward and outward adjustment keeps the door plumb. Door Frame Door Frame Rot Resistant Frame: Put an end to callbacks for rot and insect damaged door frames with jambs featuring fingerjointed composite ends. They have a 20-minute positive pressure fire-rating and a surface that machines, sands, and finishes like wood. Astragals: For double door systems only, astragals add stability and prevent drafts. The standard aluminum astragal features a locking slide bolt, steel pin, and a superior boot design that seals against air and water leaks. This is available in white or bronze for standard and 8' tall double doors. Our Coastal Astragal 2 withstands hurricane forces and features a slide bolt with a longer throw to engage in the head jamb and the sill for increased holding power. This is available in white or bronze for standard 6'8" and 8' tall double doors. Note: An oak astragal is also available for 8' tall doors. Standard Aluminum Oak Coastal Astragal 2 Lockset Multi-Point Locking System Add greater security and stability to your entry door system and enhance performance with our multi-point locking system. The stainless steel construction resists rust and corrosion. Note: Multi-point locking systems are highly recommended for 8' and double door applications. Multi-Point Lock Handlesets Available Finishes Adjustable Security Strike Plate The proprietary adjustable security strike plate is tested to withstand up to 450 lbs. of force to protect your family and your home. Note: Adjustable security strike plate is not available on certain configurations. Door Bottom Door Bottom Kerfed Door Bottom: Therma-Tru’s kerfed door bottom provides a tight seal, and the composite top and bottom end rails won’t rot or warp. Door Bottom Sweep: This Tru-Defense™ component features dual bulbs with dual fins that sit tightly on the sill to prevent air and water infiltration. Sill Sill HP Adjustable Sill: Therma Tru’s HP adjustable sill features a rot-resistant, maintenance free composite cap and stainless steel adjustment hardware. It is available in brass, mill and bronze finishes. Self-Sealing Sill: Therma Tru’s self-sealing sill features maintenance-free composite cap and rot-resistant composite substrate. It is available in brass, mill and bronze finishes. Note: Public access sills are also available. Check with your local dealer for details. Profiled Sill: Designed for a tighter fit with the door, this Tru-Defense™ component eliminates the destructive effects of water. Decorative Glass Decorative Glass Available as a Tru-Defense® component, our decorative glass is encased between two panes of tempered glass for energy efficiency and easy cleaning. Corner Seal Pad Corner Seal Pad This Tru-Defense™ feature is an innovative patent-pending design, which creates a pocket that eliminates water penetration.
