Smart Shopping
It is good to have an end to journey toward, but it is the journey that matters in the end.
BE WARY IF A COMPANY DOES ONE OR ALL OF THE FOLLOWING
- Asks you for a down payment. If a company needs your money for materials or to gain trust-watch out!
- Shows up late. Hope that it's not a trend with their measure people, installers, etc.
- Reschedules your original appointment- too busy for you? hmmmmmmmmm
- Needs all "decision makers" to be present. Are you not capable of relaying information to your spouse?
- Bad mouths the competition. Must we do this to make us look good?
- Gives you one price, then drops to another. (What if you would have said yes to the first one?)
- Calls the "boss" to see if you can get a better deal. This is why people also hate shopping for a car.
- Informs you of the "today only" sale. Gas stations may be able to change prices hourly, but window manufacturers have set costs.
- Applies any sort of pressure. This isn't an interrogation.
- Takes more than one hour of your time. This isn't open-heart surgery, it's selling a window.
