Problem: Customer had multiple problems with their existing bay window. After discussing options, Zen Windows Lanacaster replaced the windows within the bay window itself rather than replacing the whole bay window as a complete unit. (This saved the customer money on their window replacement project.)
Color Matching Exterior: Zen Windows provided color match vinyl replacement windows for this Lancaster, PA home which consisted of both double hung windows and picture windows. The vinyl window color match was correlated to the home’s existing exterior color. Windows were manufactured to exact custom sizes and delivered on time for our installation team.

Soon after being contacted via our window quote system from York, PA, our Zen Windows installation team carefully removed an existing bow window, prepared the opening and replaced the bow window with a more energy efficient casement and picture window combination. Also at this same property in York, PA we also replaced five double hung windows (not pictured) with ENERGY STAR rated Zen Nirvana windows.
During our initial conversation, we discovered that the customer needed more sunlight as well as also wanting to ensure that they could have adequate ventilation. We discussed several options and the customer chose one of our recommendations. We installed a picture window in the center of this opening and small crank-out casement windows from the Zen Nirvana Line, one on each side of the picture window for the additional ventilation. The Zen Nirvana line features double strength glass, foam filled frames and sashes and metal reinforcement. Screens always come with our replacement windows as well and are also easy to remove. With all of our projects, we leave the condition of your home better than when we arrived and more energy efficient!
We installed Zen Nirvana replacement windows in this Lancaster City historic townhouse. The customer requested double hung windows with custom grids between the panes of glass and we drew up several different window designs. We sent these window examples to the customer via email and received approval prior to ordering his windows. All of the Nirvana double hung windows are metal reinforced and insulated with comfort foam for higher R value (thermal effectiveness).
